I think everyone can relate to this topic especially girls like me who has really oily lids. My Aunt used to think that I stole her lipgloss and put them on my lids. ( >.< ) I tried many eyeliners; liquid, gel, pencil, you name it, I tried it except for the very high end ones and nothing really worked for me.
I was a busy working student who didn't really have time to fix the makeup every 2-3 hours. I hardly fix my makeup once I left my room. So, I thought to myself, "Maybe I should try different techniques rather than different products." I googled and found out that I could go over with black eyeshadow on the eyeliner but I would still have smudged eyeliner after a few hours. BUT, I finally figured out a way to make the eyeliner last ALL day. Sometimes, I would go out the whole day in a hot & humid weather and eyeliner would stay put. And for those who lives in cold area where the wind would give you teary eyes; don't worry, I got you covered as well. You are welcome. ( ^.^ ) hehehe
I can go on with the rant, btw. ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ
Here is HOW (◕‿◕✿)
1) Apply eyeshadow primer
2) Apply eyeshadow that is close to your natural skintone. This helps absorbing the oil on my lids. (I don't like wearing a lot of color, therefore, I go for the skintone colors, you can apply any eyeshadow color you want.)
3) Apply the contour color to avoid 2D eyes (◑‿◐)
4) Apply eyeliner, I find that gel liner lasts the longest and among those gel liners, my favourite one is L'Oreal Infallible Gel Lacquer Liner in Blackest Black. Better than fluid line by MAC (¬_¬)
5) Apply black matte eyeshadow
6) Wipe off the eyeshadow fallout and you are DONE ლ(╹◡╹ლ)
Thank you for your time. Have a wonderful day. Please smile. (◕‿◕✿)
Since BB Cream became quite popular here in North America, a lot of companies made a lot of BB Cream. I tried quite a lot of BB Creams in the market but none pleased me until I found MARCELLE BB Cream.
For the longest time, I waited for companies to make BB Cream for people who are not as light. Even though I am Asian, the Asian BB Creams do not have my shade. Almost all of them are too light for me. Finally, BB Cream became popular here and I found my shade.
。◕ ‿ ◕。
MARCELLE is a Canadian brand and you can purchase this BB Cream at Shoppers, Rexall and Walmart. There are three shades available (Light to Medium), (Medium to Dark) and (Dark to Darker) according to their website but I have never seen the last one. Mine is in Medium to Dark. They also have the one with shimmer which you can use for highlighting or brightening.
Hypo-allergenic and perfume free according to the print on the packaging. You can either wear it alone or as a makeup base.
Color:
I am NC 42 in Mac and the Medium to Dark suits me very well. It covers blemishes up to a certain level but certainly will not cover serious dark circles. It said that you can wear it as a makeup base but in my opinion, it alone has enough coverage since I don't like wearing a lot of foundation.
For me, the difference with this BB Cream is that it is not thin, it is thicker than tinted moisturizer but thinner than foundation. I have a pretty big face and one pump is enough for my face and neck.
Packaging:
A plastic tube with a pump and its net weight is 1.5 oz 45 ml. The price usually runs between $18.99 to $22.99+ but it is worth the price. I have been using everyday for about 5-6 months now and there is still some left. If you couldn't get it on sale at neither Shoppers nor Rexall, I recommend heading to WalMart since it is cheaper there.
Finish:
It is satin finish. I have oily to combination skin and I usually set it with a mattifying powder because it will crease into the lines on my face within 15-20 minutes. If you have oily-combination skin like me, you might want to carry a face powder with you.
Overall, I really like this product because it is lightweight and it does even out my skintone. I don't know about brightening effect, to be honest. I recommended this to a lot of my friends who do not like wearing a lot of foundation. I would suggest you to give it a try, too.
Bye Bye! Thank you for your time. Don't forget to smile today.

Hello World,
Beauty is a big wide world and I am only a little girl, trying to find a place to set my foot. It has been years since I first started to surf online about beauty and I had learned so much from girls across the globe. It is such an amazing thing when you can just share your perspective and creation with the world through the computer. I was always wanted to have my own beauty blog and start sharing my take on certain challenges and products with girls on the other side of the screen.
There are many times when I regret buying certain products. After every regret, I kick myself for not reading any reviews. Although there are many reviews and tutorials out there, it is always a challenge to find a person who has the exact same problem as you. And I am here with a little voice saying in my head, "Maybe there's someone out there who has the same problem as you and needs a little opinion." So, here I am, stepping my foot in a world of professionals and gurus.
Looking at all the gurus and professionals is definitely intimidating but hey, maybe someone will find me helpful.
Thank you to whoever takes time to come visit my blog.
Enjoy your day, beautiful!
